The aim of the Lithuanian Development Agency (LDA) is to promote the development of Lithuanian business and the growth of the country’s economy by attracting foreign direct investment and ensuring the competitiveness of Lithuanian enterprises in international markets.

In its activities, the LDA follows the goals, objectives and measures established under the Economical Development Programme as envisaged in the strategic plans of the Ministry of Economy. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania is the sole proprietor of the LDA.
