During the programming period of 2007-2013 assistance to projects is granted through two diffetent procedures: national/regional planning and tendering procedure.

Tendering procedure

Lithuanian Business Support Agency performs administrative, eligibility and quality evaluations of received applications.

Well prepared applications together with evaluation reports, depending on the specific measure, are submitted to Project selection committee or to Evaluation commission of Lithuanian Business Support Agency.

Project selection committee (PSC) comprising of personnel of Ministry of Economy, other institutions, as well as observers adopts recommendations on whether to grant assistance. Composition of Business project selection committee is specified by order No. 4-435 of 26 September, 2008, of Minister of Economy (amended by order Nr. 4-450 of 1 October, 2008, of Minister of Economy). Composition of Tourism project selection committee is specified by order No. 4-493 of 20 October, 2008, of Minister of Economy.

Final decision on grants, following recommendations of Project selection committee or Evaluation commission of Lithuanian Business Support Agency, is adopted by an order of Minister of Economy.
