Seeking to properly implement National Tourism Development Programme for years 2007-2013, order No. 4-316 of 17 July, 2008, of Minister of Economy has been adopted. Under this order, Rules on planning nationally planned projects on development of public tourism infrastructure for active recreation and Rules on planning nationally planned projects on development of public cultural tourism infrastructure have been approved.

Following these rules, two calls for submission of project descriptions were announced:

1. Call for submission of project descriptions for development of public tourism infrastructure for active recreation

2. Call for submission of project descriptions for development of public cultural tourism infrastructure

Calls for submission of project descriptions were in force from 30 July, 2008 until 25 August, 2008, project description should have been submitted to Lithuanian Business Support Agency, as specified in the appropriate call. We would like to draw your attention that project description should have been filled as specified in the annex to corresponding Rules on planning:

1. Form of project description under call for submission of project descriptions for development of public tourism infrastructure for active recreation (doc)

2. Form of project description under call for submission of project descriptions for development of public cultural tourism infrastructure (doc)

After evaluation of project descriptions with regard to selection criteria specified in the Rules on planning, lists of nationally planned projects which receive structural and(or) national assistance will be compiled. These lists are going to be approved by order of Minister of Economy.
